Lamia Laundry sits on Tahsin Sokak in Alemdar, Sultanahmet — a couple of minutes' walk from Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and Topkapı Palace. We opened to solve a simple problem: visitors and residents in the Old City needed a reliable, friendly place to get laundry and dry cleaning done quickly, without paying hotel prices.
We do things a little differently from the pickup-only services nearby. You can walk in and hand your clothes over in person, or ask us to collect from your hotel or Airbnb — whichever suits you. And alongside wash & fold, we offer proper dry cleaning for suits, dresses, delicates, abaya and thobe, so you're covered whatever you're wearing.
Our team helps guests in English, Arabic, Russian and German as well as Turkish, our prices are published openly, and most orders are back with you the same evening. Whether you're here for three days or three months, we'll keep your wardrobe fresh.
